i need new tires. bad. my tires are 200 miles away from being racing slicks. i need to get them refurbished. there dinged up pretty bad and one is bent. its gonna cost me like 600 to get them all refurbished. i dont know how much it will cost to get just one refurbished but it will be cheaper. but i found a set of of replica 18' rs4 rims in gunmetal black for 429. id get Fuzion Zr1 tires on tire rack for 94 each. so it would be 800 total. i kind of liek the rims on my car already. there nice they just need to be an inch bigger. there 17' Moda R6. basicaly what im asking is should i spend 600 to get my rims refurbished and put Fuzion Zr1 tires on. that will cost like 900 total ore get completely new rims with Fuzion Zr1 tires for 800. i think refurbishing the one rim will be like 175 so that leaves room for better tires.

these are the rims id get

if i stick with my old rims what tires should i get that have good handling and dont wear that quick. this guy i work with has a set of brand new OEM 19' s6 rims thatd hed sell me for 500 but i dont know the tire size or what the price would be like for the tires.

if those are the only two options i would say keep the ones you have, and just get a coil over suspension.. or if you dont have much money just get like vogtland springs, or eibach or any kind of lowering springs... but i dont think you should go with the rims you have selected.. just keep the ones you have and lower your vehicle.

I'd get new ones, those aren't worth the 600 it would cost to refinish them.

If you shop around, i'm sure you could find a good set of nicer wheels + newish tires for about the same price as refinishing your current ones and putting new rubber on them.

I got my set of brand new 18" RS4s for super cheap. They came with tires that had less than 1000 miles on them.... and i only paid 600 for everything. Just be patient and you will find a good deal.

Those rims don't look good on Audi.

Get RS4 reps for sure, but why would you get anything other than the B5 '9 spokes'? they look much nicer IMO.
