I am upgrading my stock B6 1.8T suspension to coilovers, and 17" wheels to RS4 reps (19x8.5 et38) and would like to hear any experience/opinions of my 4 choices. Looking for durability, comfort similar to stock, adjustability of dampening, and easy ride height adjustment. Thanks in advance!

1. Stasis Streetsports
2. Vogtland Gran Turismo
3. TEIN Super Street
4. Bilstein PSS9

Sorry, I have the FK Silverlines, but I too went from stock base 17s to 19s on coilovers. You'll also want the RS4 rear sway, HUGE difference, and chipped of course. But ride will get louder, you'll feel leaves on the road, and most bumps will be somewhat jarring. If I didn't have the FKs, I would have gone with the Vogtland as I heard great things about them.

i would pic option 1, 2 or 4. Skip 3. I am biased towards option 1. :-)

I'm in the same boat and trying to figure out which set up to use as far as the coilovers. Trying to decide between the Stasis SS, Vogtland GT, KWs , and PSS9s

If you want close to stock comfort look for the "standard" Vogtland coilovers, the GT's are a bit stiffer. I have the standard Vogtlands and love them, but definately get the RS4 rear swaybar as well. Great combo!!

Jason - how does the warranty work for the Stasis streetsports. I recently serviced my car and the Audi tech at Auchor Audi told me that rear shocks are bad and they are leaking. I can hear noises from them within the cabin of the car. How can i go about warrantying them? Please PM an let me know, thanks..

Can you adjust ride height on the street sports while their on the car?

yes.. But on the B6/B7 chassis pretty much any coilover is a PIA to adjust on the rear of the car. The fronts are easy.

Thanks for the information.

I currently have Vogt GT's on my Avant and am taking them off for STaSIS SL's. The Vogts aren't nearly stiff enough and I rub on every little bump (I am running 25.5" on the front). For me at least they feel like the same ride as the normal S4 suspension, not exactly what I was looking for.

What about KW V3's? I have heard great things about them. Mine are actually going on my S4 tonight

Vogtland GTs FTW. They are very comfortable in the every day drive and are pretty forgiving on bumps, but they have a great feel around corners. Driving on curvy roads at high speed is a pleasure. Running about 2 fingers gap.

KW V3 here... had them on all the cars i've owned and love them over many other coils like H&R or Koni based stuff
