Pm'd for the brake pads.

quick question: Do I need to resurface the rotors or can I just put the pads in?
2nd question: Do I need to do the rears at the same time?

Just sent you a reply.

I did not re-surface my rotors when i changed pads but i did Bed them in pretty good. Stoptech.com has a detailed procedure.

As for the rears, i did them at the same time but probably not critical as most braking is done at the front.
