I tried putting in the DV and my car was bucking! [headbang] Can u not use a spacer with the DV? i did everything else right and just wanted to make sure if u can or can't use a forge spacer with it

Also on the spacer the o-ring is busted on the spacer so is it causing the bucking?

Sounds like you need to fix your o-ring at least first.

We do not sell or endorse DV spacers, so we honestly can't tell you how our DV will work with one. However, our DV is a pretty simple design, so in theory it should behave no differently than a stock DV with a spacer.

I bet your problem lies with your broken spacer o-ring.

^I asked this question to AWE as well. I plan to upgrade my DV and I run the Forge BOV spacer right now, dont want to lose that feature...so the decision awaits to see if it works...Either going AWE kit or Forge Kit..or even new factory valve

drop the spacers, they are useless. If you want the bov sound get an intake with no gains but less damage to the car. either way, the sound is stupid. must be a jersey thing :)

drop the spacer. You have a vacuum actuated part with a broken seal. Of course it doesn't work right.

I took out the spacer and tried it and still no lucK!!!! I called awe and they told me to try and put the stock one back in. I did that as well and NO LUCK!!! my car keeps dying on me and im getting so frustrated with this damn thing!!! I DID EVERYTHING on the intrusctions and this still continues to happen?!

might be something other than the dv. Maybe a boost leak somewhere else or something. Vag the car if you can for codes.

The AWE diverter valve already makes a BOV type noise. Its not very loud but you'll definitely be able to hear it. You don't need the spacer. I made up a review on the Forge and the AWE DV and after running the forge for 7000k and then swapping in the AWE I felt like the AWE one worked much better. Look up AWE vs Forge DV.

I'm having audi take my car tomorrow. I cannot even start it hopefully they can fix my car i put the stock DV back in everything should be ok
