Is there a way to install OEM keyless entry in a 96 A4. I know i would have to get a hold of the receiver for under the backseat and the remotes. If its possible does anyone know where i could find a reciever and what its part number is?

It'd be cheaper and better to use aftermarket electronics.

Keyless entry was a dealer installed option in 96...you could go to the dealer and get it....but you could get a much higher quality unit for cheaper if you go aftermarket.

if you get aftermarket, make sure you have someone who can install it (unless you want Circuit City or Best Buy to rip shit apart). At least here in Cincy, no one will install an alarm they don't sell (ie. the good ones).

For the same price you could probably get an entire alarm system featuring keyless entry....
