is there a way to turn off the corner lights on the head lights. like turn them off when u switch the lights on but when u put the blinkers on they come on. i want it to look like it has 2 eyes

yeah you can either cut two wires (cant recall which ones) or just put electrical tape on one of the contact points on the bulb

electrical tape if you don't want to cut wires. I did this to 2 cars this past weekend. yes blinker still works

LMAO! [>_<]

First thing to do its open the hood....you gotta get at it from the back [up]

But seriously.......what is the problem? I'm not sure I understand how you can't get to the blinker.

Which part do u put the tape?

just cut the inner wires on each side if the bulb. be sure to cut them off, do not try and pull them out of the bottom of the bulb or you will ruin the bulb.

for a picture check here:http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=252968&highlight=single+filament+bulb

I wish I had gone the electrical tape route. I saw that theory like 15 minutes after I had just cut mine.

You just put a piece of tape over one of the connectors on the bottom of the turn signal bulb.

I remember seeing a DIY for this somewhere a while ago. I'll see if I can find it and post a link. BTW not having those corner lights on when the headlights on is illegal in case anyone cares

that's why I carry a set of spare bulbs in my glove box and if I ever get pulled over, I'd tell the officer that I'm aware of the problem and that I already have the spare bulbs on hand and just waiting til there's daylight to swap them haha.

For both the electrical tape and cutting method, there shouldn't be a need for a diy :|.

And to the OP, take your headlights off, it'll be a lot easier to access the bulbs, especially the intake side.

Tell that to the state dmv who passed me [up] As long as they blink when the blinker is turned on, they are legal. Atleast in NJ.

Really? The CT DMV failed me for that. They suck though so I'm not surprised.
