Well I put on suspension today and when I went to drop it the stock wheels were rubbing the swing arms so I had to put on my new wheels and there is now a gap but its really small so I need both recommendations for spacer sizes and a sit that has them instock with bolts. Ecs is all out of stock so don't recommend that. Its only about a screwdriver width size can fit in there.

Is it actually hitting it? Like does your car not move when you try to flinstone it?

Ya but I would like some 5mm spacers so I can pull it out a little more. It was hitting with the stock wheels then i put on my new ones and it no longer rubs but its close.

Id say as long as it isn't touching, you will be completely fine. As others have stated, this piece moves with the wheel. Im running 245/35/18 tires on a 18x8.5 and I never thought Id make it out alive after putting those on, but it doesnt rub whatsoever.

thought I add this is on the back only and that I am going to get spacers anyway to places would be great. I also need to know what size bolts I will need for 5mm or 8mm spacers.

I found a place to get them just need to know with or without lip. What does the lip do and is it needed.

you need the lip. its 57.1 mm iirc, it centers the wheel on the hub. measure your stock bolts ang get ones that are longer by however think your spacers will be

I've got 8mm spacers on my A4 right now and am using 35mm long bolts. Hope that helps.

It does help because I ordered 8mm h&r with lip and 35mm bolts last night so im glad I got the right stuff. I was doing my suspension today and after going through the hassle of taking out the whole assembly and removing the tie rod arm I found out I could have just removed the 2 hidden bolts under the caps in the engine bay :/. Looks like I know how to shave time off next time.

12mm in rear and 8mm in front should make your car extremely flush with stock wheels. I'm sure Mike@pureMS has spacers in stock. though it seems like you already got them

Sounds like you've got everything covered. Where did you end up ordering your spacers from?

purems is the only place I could find that had them in stock with cheap bolts. I ordered a matched set of 8mm with lip for front and back. I didn't want to go with a wider back end than in the front so I just got 2 sets of 8mm. I also could not find any other than 8mm that had the lip.
