Just got my new vag-com to figure out why my flashing CEL was. Does anyone know what this means? I just changed my O2 sensor so it can't be that. So I'm thinking it must be a fuel filter or MAF sensor??? help!

My guess would be ignition control module.

does the car run bad?

when my ICM went the, one of the cylinders misfired and the car ran like crap. It was louder then $hit, and shook like a tractor.

I agree with the ICM analysis. When it starts to go, it can take the coil packs with it too. I'd guess ICM, or coilpack. Test the coilpacks resistance. I think if it's over .6, they say it's fualty. I guess average is like .2

Hope that helps.

Yeah, it does shake a little. More so in 3rd through 5th gear... if I can get it up that high.

After your help and reading another thread, I think I'll go buy a passat version of the ICM and throw it in tomorrow. Thanks brothas!

So much for the passat version... they have the same part number and cost the same. 423.20! it's kind of funny how they add the .20 cents. Anyway... I bought one from ecs for 150.00
