Has anyone every installed or used the Audmods.com xenoflo HID retrofit kit on their B7 A4? Just ordered a set of Solaris Invisibulbs from them for the clear corners, and asked them about this kit. They said that it works without replacing the entire light casing.

Thanks for the clarification on my question. Is the fire reference to the fact that the mod is a bad idea or b/c I posted something without good research...for which I will be flamed?

putting aftermarket HID kits into halogen light housings is a bad idea.
HID's require projector housings. You can purchase these from Valeo E-code or other aftermarket parts vendors. The reason HID's should be used in conjunction with projectors is to properly focus the light to the road and not blind/distract other drivers.
Halogen housings are meant to reflect halogen light to the road.
HIDs in halogen light housings get reflected AND REFRACTED. Refraction is light being split and becomes a distraction to other drivers as it appears to flicker/distort. The light will also appear to be flashing between high/lowbeam as the angle of the reflection and refraction constantly changes to other drivers.
Please be courteous and if you want to use HID's use the proper PROJECTOR housings.

Thanks for the explanation. Makes perfect sense to me. I will hold off on that one 'til I can afford the projector housings. Thanks again.
