View Full Version : Does the CD changer needs a bracket? (nobody knows???)

I'm about to order my RNS-E. The Ipod adapter sucks, so I'm gonna use the SD cards and a cd changer in the glovecompartment.
Does the CD changer fits in the glovecompartment or do I need to buy a bracket or something?

I think I need a new glovecompartment or some kind of aftermarket bracket. Although the last pictures showes something else...[confused]

Has nobody retrofitted the cd changer before?

Yep me too....[evilmad] But if you look at the link I posted you see there are some brackets available, only the link in the link (it's getting complicated[:p]) is dead.

It's a non OEM solution I found on the internet. Maybe there are other solutions, that's what I'm trying to find out with this topic.

I can't imagine nobody on Audizine haven't done this before...

Yep, we keep on trying[:p] I have searched everywhere but couldn't find any more info.

I need to have the partnumber of the glove compartment. If it's not too expensive I'll consider a new one. Like to keep my car OEM but if there is a good cheap solution I'll try that.

ive looked and pretty sure they dont sell the piece separate and you need the whole glovebox which is 500+ did you already purchase the changer because im thinking of selling mine now...

Not yet... I'm considering waiting with the CD changer and just order the RNS-E. When I move back to the Netherlands I'll look for a CD changer. Not sure yet what to do... I think it's easier in Europe to find a cheap glove compartment. I've looked on Ebay.de (germany) and there where some out there. they cost about 100 euro's.
