I got my 96 a4 2.8 used. I have had it for about 2 yrs now and have not had to replace anything yet. I notice the other day when i hit any kind of bump i can here a rattling sound up front on the passenger side. What could this be? I know these cars have problems with wheel bearings and control arms. Is that all or is there something else it could be. Also the other day i was on the interestate and reached 100mph and the front end was vibrating really bad. Never noticed it at normal speeds but triple digits is terrible.

Also how much am i looking at to fix possible problems and how much damage can i do if i don't replace immediatley.

Now if it turns out to be control arms is it usually upper or lower and are there any aftermarket upgrades for those.

Thanks for any help you can give
