Just took my 2008 TT in for 25k mile service. When I got the car back, I noticed automatic shifting from 2nd to 1st less smooth and noisier. It feels and sounds like like a worn u-joint, whereas before it was smoother and no tinking sound. I am convinced the mechanic drove it hard on his test drive. Could one test drive cause that much change in linkage? How the heck do I approach the dealer? I have been completely dis-satisfied with this dealer in the mid-south compared to Seattle dealer.

25k is just an oil change. No need for the tech to drive it.

you dont have any proof and its all about what you say. Car has factory warrenty so who cares jsut complain about it and get them to fix it under warrenty right??

There is no way a short test drive or driving it hard would have caused what you are feeling. But I would take it back since you should be under warranty stll

Why would the dealer take your TT to fuck with when I can guarantee there are faster and more powerful cars lying around their lots for them to mess with.
