Nobody if you tighten the plugs down correctly...

NTM that most of us b5ers have coilpacks that bolt down. Nice product though, i have a few b6 friends who have coils that come loose everyone once in a while.

I did. AWM B5's don't have the coils with the hold-downs.

When under warranty, I took my car to the dealer for a rough idle condition. They said 3 of 4 coil packs were poped up, and 2 of the spark plugs were loose?! It had only ever had dealer service up until this point.

I regularly check to make sure the coil packs are all pushed in properly these days.

I thought the major issue with the push down coils is that they just blow.

I've heard of this issue on the 1.8T engine forum on VWVortex but have never experienced it on my Jetta 1.8T or the Audi I have now which both have push down coil packs. I do make sure to tighten the spark plugs to the correct torque, though. I also check my coil packs periodically and they've never been close to popping out.

I've had about 6-8 fail.... but never blow so to speak. I always keep one in the trunk now.

Since checking them over the last few years, I think maybe once I noticed that one slightly popped up. That issue with the 3 popping was strange. The tech at the dealer was also a little baffled by it.

Well when I said "blow" I just meant suck/fail in word. [>_<]

LOL... yes, in that case, those coils do just blow.
