okay dont ask how.. but i broke both of the plastic nipples off the front of the N249.. My question is... instead of bypassing it.. can i just plug it in. and leave everything els unplugged and capped? or does there need to be air moving through it..

If you still have the broken off niple tubes you can solder them on or super glue them, then reattach the tubes. Same thing happened to my friend's jeep cherokee on the coolant overflow canister.

just bypass it. reroute the line from the fron on the Im directly to your dv and then plug off the other one. i did and the car runs a little stronger to boot.

i dunno about how much stronger it is, but i bypassed mine and it works like a charm. it may be a little more responsive, but thats the only difference ive seen. remember to leave it plugged in electronically. thats pretty much the only thing that matters.
