That's your fuel pressure regulator. It's just moving air, but because it's fuel related, I'd leave it alone and stick with the one off the front of the intake manifold.

fpr line is fine to tap into, just make sure its on there tight

it is fine, but I would stick to the line off the front of the manifold since it wont affect your a/f ratio if something were to happen to the line

okay i stayed away from that one, but i think i made a bigger mistake.. this is what i tapped into.. but now my gauge lights up on startup, but the needle wont move.. did i cut and tap into a wrong line? or did i wire the gauge wrong / maybe get a broken gauge?

You tapped into the wrong line my friend. That's the line that runs to your combi valve for the SAI system.

You want to tap into the line running to the FPR or the line on the front of the intake manifold (closest to the front of the car).

oh man..[:o] good thing i did tho, because upon doing so that stock line pretty much fell apart in my hand, so tomorrow im going to just re run all new hose through the car and tap into the correct line this time (hopefully)

Yeah those hoses just break down after a while. You'll end up replacing quite a few of them over time.

Share a photo of while hose you plan on tapping prior do doing it if you want.

For reference you can tap into the line pictured here that heads from the intake mani to the diverter valve:

just installed my boost gauge the other day, that line off the front of the intake manifold is the easiest place to go. that picture above it perfect to reference.
