Send a PM to clint masterson

Sad.

Another reason my car's not slammed.

These aluminium oil pans are fragile as egg shells - one sniff of tarmac, and they literally explode.

I wonder how many would convert to a steel pan Siena.

I think folk will - certainly a lot more durable.

Oddly enough, they weigh about the same.

It's thinner than the aluminium version, and doesn't have reinforcement webbing either.

i had it coming, cause we have brick roads in my village, i new i needed to juck up my coils, since i deliver pizza part time in that car too, as a third job.

so me being not keeping the rational prioritues straight. i knew it would happen, now it did, well life goes on.

the biggest bitch is the trouble you have to go change them in the A4s, compare to my mk2 GTI VR6 {rip}, i could have done that job on the parking lot with the lift, and 1 wrench

thanks,

i think i am gonna talk to rob and A&P, another issue is scarcity, cause i am pre-facelift, and my pan doesn't have oil level sensor hole
