been thinking about ordering some RS4 mesh. could someone put down a link for the grills DIY?? thanks

Two options:

#1 - Search on the McMaster-carr.com website for the mesh that you would like (Search on AZ for the exact Part Number if you'd like)

#2 - LLtek.com has a plastic mesh that IMHO is better than the one mentioned above.

Is this for an A4 bumper or S4 bumper? Procedure is different for the two.

You can take out the grills (all 3) and dremel out the fins. I would use the LLtek ABS plastic, but the Home Depot mesh works good as well (no, I don't know the part name/number). Cut the mesh to match the grill size (always leave extra when cutting the mesh, then dremel it down to a flush fit). You can use Epoxy to make the mesh adhere to the grill, and allow it to dry. Then spray it with Plasti-Dip as the Epoxy leaves an ugly color and the Plasti-dip cleans up the rough edges. This is for the A4.
