I searched but to no avail.

Curious to see what power everyone is making with what mods.

I just got Uni Stg2 along with 3" TBE (no cat, single resonator) and cone filter. Would I be crazy to expect around 200awhp with the flash, 3" straight TBE and intake?

Probably. Depends on the dyno you go on though. I ran min on a Dynomite which I have been told reads 8-10% lower than the standard Dynojet. My 'power' mods at the time were:

Unitronic Stg 1
Test pipe
APR Turbo Back
Carbonio V2 intake
91 oct (the best we can get at the pump here)

Oh... and I'm FWD.

If you are talking 200awhp on a K03 dont expect to hit that unless it is pushing 20+psi and tune for 104-105 octane. Thats about what I made with my custom GIAC chip tuned for 104. Not even all the K04's put down 200whp and thats ones pushing 25+psi.

My last dyno.
Stage = Lost count
Tune = 034 stand alone
Turbo = GT35r
Fuel = VP Q16 (oxygenated 116 octane)

Ah alright. My buddy is makine 240fwhp out of his ko3. Its 2nd or 3rd highest hp number out of a stock ko3. He is tuned for 100 octane and alcohol though

But the uni stg2 is suppose to make 220hp / 275ft-lbs with stock exhaust on 93 octane. Figure 3" exhaust should free up a good bit. Granted quattro means more drivetrain loss.

Your buddy have a trasverse 1.8t? Cant really compare them to our A4's because they use a completely different 3K turbo.

3" exhaust doesn't do much for the K03/K04 seeing that those turbos dont flow enough air to cause a huge amount of back pressure on a 2.5" exhaust.

Even if you were at 225chp thats still only 175.5 awhp. To make 200awhp would mean making 256chp.

Yeah 200whp is a stretch on a ko3. I dynod 140whp i think (i forget) but it was under 150, with stage 1 software.

With this set up:
28rs
ASP manifold
2.5" apr exhaist
2.5" ASP HFC
Bailys DV
93 oct

Yeah even the guys running the high hp K04-15 setups(PC-16, J31, FX Hammer) barely hit 200awhp.

Apr Stage 3 (93 octane file), FMIC by Greedspeed, Cone intake, Borla exhaust, Test pipe, Apexi boost controller, 100 octane (I WAS going to turn up my boost, but my A/F ratio was too lean), 18psi.

Next mods: adjustable FPR, Fuel pump, water injection, 24psi and 300whp goal.

Andrew you ready to run your car at the track? Because CMI at Sac is coming up on March 8th.

Im waiting for my urethane to dry as we speak on my motor mounts, trani mounts, and drivetrain mount (front). This, combined with my AWE drivetrain stabilizer, should help to reduce the severe drivetrain movement I was having at the dyno.

March 8th? I might be able to swing that. Im going to lower the car an inch and realign it with about .5 more negative camber all around before then (Its autox season... last time I went the inside of my tires didnt even heat up..)..

If you use a K03-0073 you can take it over 200WHP, i can show you a Dyno to prove it.

People put 3.5 inch exhaust on their V-tachs. Doesn't do anything,but make ur car sound fast and you if anything make you lose torque...
As Mikey P mentioned diffrent K03's put out diffrent power.

FWIW I've actually seen a dyno where the curve looped. Turbo S52's need beefy clutches.

The parameters on the graph must have been off. Post up the pic if you can find it.

Its obvious you cant have 3 different hp numbers at the same time..

I'll see if I can't find it, it's somewhere in the F/I section of the bimmerforums...

FWIW I've actually seen a dyno where the curve looped. Turbo S52's need beefy clutches.

That would mean the rpms would rise quickly while the hp dropped and that would make it just dip, but to completely loop the clutch would have to grab again causing the rpms to bog back down and then hold the rest of the run. Hard to do seeing that most of the time when the clutch lets go it just lets go and the run is over. Now it might be a different story if the wheels spun off the rollers and then grabbed again, this might cause a loop in the dyno graph but at that point the numbers are not correct.

Well mark your calander because I plan on being there and Greg might be there too running his B6.
