Well i have changed the tip transmission fluid with synthetic Febi but on a cold start its still slipping pretty bad from 2rd to 3rd gear with a relatively light load.It is also inconsistent???
Could this be an easy fix or is this a sign that its time to bail on my baby.
Any trouble shooting tips to isolate the specific problem. Anyone gone down this road with a similar expierence.
Rebuild vs. used costs??

my reverse was slipping about a year ago, temporary fix was flushing out oem atf with new oem atf. It helped a little bit, but I soon replaced the entire tranny

Costed me an arm, a leg, and a few internal organs lol. I did my swap at the dealer, $6000 installed. Why didn't I sell the car instead? This car has way too many memories :DD. Spending my time modding this car kept of away from hanging out with the "wrong" crowd when I was in high school.

Filter and fluid change helped my slippage in 2nd and 3rd. Check your fluid level again - make sure you got that right - the tranny is picky about the level.
