I am putting on some finishing touches on the B5 before summer.
LLTEK RS4 front bumper, new wheels..etc
One of the things i'd like to get by the end of the week is a frontmount.
Is it worth it to get an Ebay item such as

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/98-99-00-01-AUDI-A4-1-8T-FMIC-INTERCOOLER-KIT-COMPLETE_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ72Q3a1205Q7c6 6Q3a2Q7c65Q3a12Q7c39Q3a1Q7c240Q3a1318Q7c301Q3a1Q7c 293Q3a1Q7c294Q3a50QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhash Zitem380104191717QQitemZ380104191717QQptZMotorsQ5f CarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories#ht_4005wt_1361

Or a brand name such as
https://www.mjmautohaus.com/catalog/product_info.php?info=GReddy_12100001_Intercooler_ Kit_Front_Mount_31V&products_id=1300

Please let me know what you guys think, OR if any of you guys have tried any of the ebay intercoolers before. thanks!![drive]

Oh and if you guys wanna check out a Vid i did(not much euro going on but..lol still cars!)

If your plans are to go big turbo down the road, get the brand one. If u have no. If you have no big plans for it just buy the eBay one

Ebay is a generic core with misc piping bends and you piece it together. A brand kit like 034 or Greddy will have all your piping ready to bolt on.

While I agree, the FMIC with piping 034 advertises is "universal". I had their silicone FMIC pipes, and sold them.

Evolution Raceworks, GReddy, Racetec, etc. would be how I would go if I was to spend the money.

I run the 034 kit. Its not bad other the soft pipes.

i have the 034 silicone FMIC hoses that im not using anymore if your interested. i ran em for about 8 months before i had some hard pipes welded up. they make it real easy to install a FMIC with the stock turbo setup.
