I stated installing my GT28R set up and decided to go with double catch can set up - Saikomichi 951 stage 3 OCC (w/ 3/4" fittings) for the hard line (blue intersection) and the Single stage 1 OCC (w/1/2" fittings) for the smaller line that goes to the intake mani. The thing I am still hesitating about is the place I will cut this line. The v.1 spot would be easier and simplier than v.2, but I do not know if there will be any difference in terms of functionality.

What do you think?

you lost me honestly.. but why don't you just run ONE catch can IN-LINE with your PCV hard line that wraps around the head...? Is it being routed back into your tip? Either way just do it that way, seams like your doing WAY more than is necessary but like I said you lost me on your post.

I mean, from the looks of that drawing you did your not even tapping into the correct line? idk.. it is hard to tell

The blue line I drew is the PCV hard line and both catch cans will be in-line. If I go the way you describe, then cranck case oil vapor would be vented through a catch can only under boost conditions, with the second catch can the crancase wil be vented through a catch can under all conditions.

The target is to avoid oil going in the intake system, but also avoid this hapening into the cylinders.

oo, I missed that blue line, hard to spot haha. Honestly man, run one good catch-can in-line. you will have no issues. I assume your not revving your motor to 8k on a gt28r, so you will have no issues with oil going through.. The catch-can will be plenty. if you are still worried then don't run it back into your TIP..Seams like you are being a bit to cautious. Regardless, i see no issues with either of the ways you plan to run it

My friend with an Evo has one of those catchcans and there really nice. Just a bit of a bitch to drain. You really can't go wrong either way as far as single or double catch cans. What ever floats your boat.

Any other comments, especially v.1 vs. v.2 spot for the second can? [confused]

Come on people, I'd appreciate some input here...

I have been staring in the engine bay and in the Bently's manual for a couple of days already and still can't figure out the exact route the crankcase gases enter the intake manifold - the green or the blue line?

I checked the nipples on the mani, the smaller one (where blue line goes) was much more oily than the bigger one, but on the other hand the green line (going to the bigger nipple) seems to be the correct route of the crankcase gases.
