Anyone use a bulb for their high beams that will closely match HIDS? Im tired of having my high beams look all yellow compared to low beam 6000k. Thanks

you could do hid but xenon takes to long to power up. just get some sylvania silverstar ultra. thats the closest i think you are gong to get. they will be around 4000-4300k

Silverstars are a waste of money IMO.

If you just want them to match, then get some heavily blue tinted bulbs off Ebay or something.

Silverstars are def better than ricer lights, the idea of high beams is to put out more light, not less[down]

Who cares about matching your hi beams to your low beams?
Do you drive around with your high beams on at all times?

Well if he wants output, he shouldn't get Silverstars anyway.....they don't put out any more lumens than regular halogen bulbs.

I really don't know why people waste money on those things.

If you want greater output, pick up a set of OSRAM Silverstars (these are the ones sold in Europe), and I they are a +30% bulb. They won't be much whiter but you will have some bright high beams!
