before i install
is there any reason why i would lubricate the mount at all? just curious

no, maybe a little bit on the inside to ease in the installation though.

I would. I tend to use NAPA's syl glyde on bushings when I install them.

if you lube something thats exposed like your snub mount, dirt will just be attracted to it. I left mine dry.

I only lubricate areas that have bushing to metal contact. IOW, nothing that would be exposed. There wouldn't be any point in lubricating something exposed to the air.

i put a tiny bit of silicone spray on the inside if one is being a real bitch to slide onto the mount, but other than that, no.
