just got the car revo'd yesterday and today im driving and the car starts to stutter. check engine light flashes for a bit then goes off. then i give a little more gas and it stutters again and the light stays on this time. now the car was still boosting so i dont think it was the fuel pump. it almost felt like the car was out of alignment. and it only shook when i gave it gas not when the car was just rolling. i have a feeling it might be a engine mount but would that just be too coincidental?

coil pack went, easy fix. Dont drive the car, just park it. If you can, put it back in stock mode and call your dealer, tell them you "dont know whats going on". If you still have factory warranty they can tow your car in, throw a new coil pack on and youll be on your way in 10 minutes. Or you can just go pick one up for $30 at the same place you got it chipped at.
Where are you in NY? If youre close I could drop off a coil for you so you can drive it til you get it fixed.

Do you think it will be a big deal if I can't flash it back? I don't have a switch. I also need to drive the car, will this cause any harm?

Is the check engine light still on? I'm at 50K and I need to replace the coilpacks I'm sure, doesn't want to start, rpm's are rasing/going down when idling.

defiantly get it flashed back to stock somehow, maybe you can borrow a switch from someone because the dealer could easily blame the chip to be the problem or something

I would save the dealer visit for another time, the coilpacks aren't that much money and it's IMO not worth the trouble of flashing back to stock for the visit.
Get a code reader from AutoZone, get some coilpacks, pull the CEL & troubleshoot.

You can get them from ECS and the dealer should have some coilpacks in-stock

I'd pull the code first... it could still be the fuel pump, I've seen it happen.

Disconnect the harness and pull on it, don't touch the metal area.

Coil packs are really easy to change. Just take the engine cover off and you'll see them. There are 4. Then disconnect the harness that connects to the top of coil (do one at a time) and pull the disconnected coil straight up and it will pop right out. They may be a little hard to pull up at first but they will come out. This is a good time to replace your spark plugs to a 1 step colder plug because you're running more boost and timing with a chip. Then just replace the old coil with the new one. Make sure you push the new coil down all the way until you feel it "click". Re-connect the coil harness and you're done.

start at autozone and get your car scanned for codes free before you start replacing parts or taking it to the dealer.

Wouldn't be a bad thing to have one just in case, he can pull the CEL thought and see if that's the problem.

this thread is stupid, k u either have a bad coilpack just go to the dealer and buy them, do it ur self, its a guess and check process, its not that hard, and if ur flashed keep spares in ur car. If its not the coilpack than ur PCV is cracked, do u see oil up on the motor, if u do than ur PCV is cracked which u have to go to the dealership but make sure ur chips off or ur screwed

i dont think this thread is stupid, im sure if you needed help this would be one of your options too. got the coil pack this morning and popped it in and the stuttering went away but the CEL is still on, how would i go about resetting it and will that mess with the revo flash?
