This is a rant!

After my spending spree this weekend, I have been waiting for the Hoen license plate bulbs, scratch n ding gauge, ECS city lights, replacement 3000K fogs, Sprayed Tails.....

So I got the Hoen's in today and began to install them. Left went in nice and easy. But the right is fucking stripped!! I had my bulb burn out about 3 months ago and had audi fix it for me under warranty. The tech reinstalled the bulb with a screw that he stripped while getting out.

Your telling me that I can pay 40,000 dollars for the car and leave me with a stripped POS screw to deal with the next time I need to take it off!! Now I need to go and get that removal kit, which this would probably be the only time I use it and fix it myself.


Hoen Bulb- 19$
Shipping Hoen bulb- 8$ WTF!!!
Removal tool- 20$

The guy who invented the power screwdriver should be hanged. Almost every screw in my house is hopelessly stripped. I did get a great tip on a stripped screw removal tool recently. It is called a Grabit, and it works, not like the other tools which I have tried[wrench].

i thought this post had to do with me haha, sucks for the screw. It has happen to me before...I complained and was like wtf is happening here. Take to a different dealer see if they can give you a new screw or what not.

What does this repair kit entail?

+1 for Grabits...Amazing, but won't help on extracting <3mm screws that are tightened into metal. Stripped in Plastic or Wood=no problem w/ grabit.
