View Full Version : NJ Hand Carwash...it's way too cold to wash yourself.

Hey guys, I know most of you detail/wash your cars yourself but it's way too cold outside to do that now. I'm sure you don't want to take it through the traditional carwash with recycled water and hard/dirty rags. I'm also pretty sure your not going the whole winter with your car dirty.

Check out Automotive Tailors located in Middlesex county, NJ. Some of you may already heard of us or been at our shop but for those that haven't - hello.

Many people go to the BP gas station carwash on RT22 in the winter but just to let you know there is a better option out there.

There is a much better car wash, formerly known as T.J.'s car wash and now Squeaky Clean. A hand wash starts at $7.99 for exterior only. I hit it up twice a year to get my undercarriage cleaned.

don't they use rails? my car will never clear rails.

I prefer Automotive Tailors since they top shelf brands like P21S, Menzerna, and 1Z. they also use MF towels. swirl marks are not your friend.

You need a simple, clean website with basics like pricing, hours, directions, etc. Did I mention pricing?

You can add photos, testimonials, flash, etc later as you develop the site.

IMO better to have no link than to link to myspace for a professional.

I always use A-1 hand car wash in Edgewater on Old River Road. No rails, just a drive through, only 12 bucks and they do everything, glass, tires, vacuum.

i recommend that you bring your own drying towels when you go there. my friend that was a regular had tons of swirl marks from their old towels.

Bell Turnpike. from the NA Diner, drive up and cross over Ridge Rd.
you will see it on the right side across a laundry place.

If anyone is in central jersey, Millennium Car Wash and Detailing does a pretty good job. Its on 206 bordering hillsborough and montgomery.
