This is a quote from a customer in Denver who was running Sportec software and switched to GIAC. Maybe some help for all those "Tweeners" out there.

****This is S4 info, but proven gains, thanks in part to Jeff Moss @ Torque Factory.

"Car dynoed at 449 whp and 444 ft/lb tq on 100 octane with the new giac/moss software. Car dynoed at 405 whp and 411 ft/lb tq before with the sportec software. Though the sportec software was a "95 octane" chip I had advanced timing via lemminwinks by 4.5 degrees and was running 100 oct. So, basically a 100 program. Boost is no higher than it was with sportec, air/fuel seems healthy as well as timing. I'm quite impressed. I was hesitant as to whether Jeff was going to be able to squeeze much more, but he proved me wrong. Big thanks to Jeff Moss and Zev for the countless hours (lost count along the way!). Sportec is great software, very smooth, but I was looking for that extra little bit, torque comes on soon and hard. Will post dyno plot later."

chips make a big difference with FI cars... doesnt make much of a difference on NA unless its coupled with a new intake system(MAF and such) and exhaust... still not comparable to FI gains tho

like he said, with additionl parts like intake and full exhaust, is a pretty good gain ~20hp or so
