Hey, just got a confirmation from the TT side of the forums that I actually DO have the magnetic suspension!

Now I'm wondering if I wanted to improve handling, would stiffer lowering springs be okay for the suspension setup, or will I risk blowing expensive magnetic shocks? In fact, will the performance improve at all? I've heard of cases where stock shocks + lowering springs = crappier ride, crappier cornering...

any recommendations?

I'd recommend contacting H&R to see if they offer anything.

We've installed H&R Lowering springs on S5s with audi drive select with no issues.

Great! How's the ride/handling now?

Any news on how the handling is on the S5 after a month of running on lowering springs?

I'm still worried that the extra spring energy from stiffer lower springs will cause premature wear on the magnetic shocks...

Maybe I'll just keep checking for knowledge about this on here...

I do have the same question in my mind either, I've H&R springs on my 2.0T TT(with Magnetic ride), the ride is now worse than stock. I wonder if there are coilovers that could fit onto my TT that would not trigger any malfunction lights on the cluster? TIA[;)]
