I know there have been a million threads, and i've done my fair share of searches, but i think we could all use a once and for all answer.

Under the assumption that someone is getting it for the sound enhancement rather then an actual HP improvement, will there be a loss in power? my basic question is, we all now know that the intake does not improve performance, so will it detract from the power? or have no effect other than sound?

I have it and I love it. It is also for sale because i have the turbokit being put in. Look at my thread in the FS section

I wont believe it has any power loss until I see a dyno sheet.

Apparently it is due to the fact that air induction is right next to the turbo in our cars, thus, sucking in hot air. All my friends are asian so I want one [:)].

just build a custom heat shield that covers the sides and even the top. then put your cold air tube right next to the filter
