Is anyone on here running an Active Laser Protection System?

I'm debating what to go with or if to get one yet. I'm looking into a stealth install on my V1 with the rearview mirror display and I think a jammer would pair nicely [:d]

On a separate note, I just joined the group and am looking forward to the next GTG in Northern NJ. I just missed the last one!

Welcome!

Great addition to the Northern NJ community. Would love to take a peak at your S6 sometime. Im in Sussex County.

Back on topic: Im running a V1 right now as well. I am also looking into getting a laser jammer in the near future.

You can buy my Blinder M25 X-Treme setup (link (http://www.audizine.com/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=3870&cat=8)) [:D]

Interesting reading: http://guysoflidar.com/july-2008/laser-jammer-test.html

Results of the latest lidar tests:

So going by the results posted above for a two head setup, here is your best choice (commonly agreed upon in the community):
Laser Interceptor > Laser Park Pro > Blinder > Laser Mask > Escort Shifter ZR4 > Laser *

Hope this helps [up]. Shoot me a PM or post here if you have any detailed questions.

PS - I read your tag on laser *... do a LOT of reading before you spend your money on those scammers.
Here is a thread that lists a bunch of their shills trying to push their (imo crappy) product:

I was interested in the Laser* sponsorship program that ran through October but with all of the board reading I've been doing [down] L* [down]

What about a Blinder 45 vs LI 2 head? They would be about the same price.

Well that's not a fair test my friend. When you run a 4 head setup you are going to be able to block FAR more of the front of your car so you are doing a dis-service to the LI 2 head setup. On the other hand if you were planning to use the m45 (4 head) setup with two heads on the front and two on the rear then I would also say that it would get you better all around protection but the LI 2 head setup would block better in the front.

Anyway, if you were at all considering going with a 4 head setup, I would recommend that you get a 2 head setup and upgrade to a 3-4 head set up later so that you can save some cash on the front end. Just my 2 cents.

To me, if I were to choose between a 4 head setup from blinder (using all 4 heads in the front of the car) and an interceptor setup (2 heads in the front) I would go with the blinder 4 head setup because for a car (not a SUV or truck) it is normally overkill if you are taking other precautions like veil and removing bling bling things from the front of your car.
