i want to install my gs snub mount tomorrow, and i looked under the car today, and didnt really see where it should go...

i saw one part, that looks like its it, about the same size, and its a soft rubber now... at the bottom of the radiator, dead center of the car...

but thinking about it, i dont see how this mount will make any bit of difference in the car...?

can someone point me in the right direction?

I havent installed one but I am pretty sure thats where it goes.

The point of the snub mount is to remove the excessive flex between the motor and the chassis. Less flex = quicker response.

That's it. It helps, believeit. My old one was shredded and without it you would definitely notice.

Search man, there are plenty of pics and info.

If you're talking about the same thing -

IT SHOULD! You'll definitely tell a big difference if your snub mount isn't properly installed now!

About to turn over 100k think it's time for a snubby. Do you think it would have been replaced with my new motor?

tip: before putting the new one on, stick it in the microwave for 15 seconds. Slips right on then.

Where is boone? lol

It's not a hard job tho - you can do it without taking the front end off. Just slide it out a little into the service position and you can get it on.

Took me 2 hours.
