Has anyone ever heard of OR done this? Can you take out the alarm in your car that makes that VERY QUIET beep when the stock alarm sounds? Can you put JUST an after market siren in it to make it sound any different or louder??? Please let me know I want to do this this weekend. Thanks a ton

It's in the trunk sidewall. I believe the siren would just chirp like the horn.

Since it's just an electrical pulse tha tells the siren when to chirp, you'd just have to wire a new one in.

I don't know the current capacity of the horns output but adding a relay would fix that. So...by adding a relay you can add any horn you want.

so when you hit the horn button on the wheel its just the on in the front the sounds and the one in the back is just for the alarm?

is that correct??

You can leave the rear one and add an additional siren (perhaps under the hood or the area forward of the hood. The siren would cycle the same as the horn though. You could add a relay with a large cap across the coil leads to make it not cycle. If you did this the siren would sound make a l-o-n-g chirp when you armed the alarm (if the chirp is enabled).
