Guys,

Anyone tried Quixx Scratch Remover? Does it really work? I did some research on the web and looks like Quixx is the best product out there for car scratches.

My car was keyed this weekend [mad] The scratch is about 10 inches long and it isn't very deep. So I hope that Quixx will make most of it disappear.

If it isn't too deep, go and buy some rubbing compound and some wax. Use the rubbing compound and some elbow grease. It'll have the paint looking as good as new.

Sorry to hear about the car. I've had that happen quite a few times before.

I used 3M on a superficial scratch to my rear quarter panel and you can't even see it now. Works great on scratches that are not deep.

what do you do after you put on the 3m rubbing compound? Do you ahve to rewax the whole car?

You don't have to rewax the whole car. Just use the rubbing compound on a clean surface and buff it. Most of the time, if you're lazy, you don't even have to wax. Just wipe the compound off and you'll be fine.

anyone ever use NuFinish's product?

i've been using that for several years now, and the thing is great. the only bad thing about NuFinish is it is a pain to wipe off the paste.

I've been using Quixx and it works pretty well for surface scratches
