Anybody painted the chrome trim around your grille matt silver? can it be done without removing the bumper?
i haven't seen anyone paint it silver but i know i have seen pics of people painting on the car. if you search diy grille or something similar pics may come up. its not that difficult to take off the bumper and remove the grille but if you dont want to do that it can be painted on the car just make sure you put a lot of time into preperation.

The trim from the RS4 grill is pretty much matt silver. I didn't use it as I used the chrome trim from my s-line grill. You want it?

Id like to see some pics of that when its finished, had some thoughts of doing this when I didnt havw the black out grille

they have a name for "matte silver". it's grey.
(in the same vein as "they have a name for light-red. it's pink." - RvB)
