what MP3 player do you use?

I'm assuming you don't have an iPod as you just said mp3 player...

You just need anything that has a regular headphone jack or auxiliary input. I think enfigcarstereo.com has just what you would be looking for. The guys over there are great to work with and are very helpful, give em a call or email.

nice, that DICE electronics looks pretty good. a little pricey but im sure it is pretty good quality. hopefully instal isnt to much of a pain in the ass.

Any other good options? i think im going to go with that one tho, looks promising.

I bought the new griffin itrip on sale at best buy for 67 bucks a few weeks back. My friend has the Monster Cable unit which I think is probably a little better. The griffin unit is one of the best I have used as far as fm tuners go, but nothing will compare to a direct wire in. I plan on keeping my griffin unit, but the monster cable unit can be found on amazon or ebay pretty easily too.

OP: here's a link to the DICE adapter, sound quality is 10000x compared to FM transmitter and tape deck adapter:

Also get yourself a set of radio keys, it's easy to DIY. If I can do it, you can.

DICE unit [up]

keep in mind that no ipod adapter is capable of displaying the song names/data. but judging by that fact that you were using a FM modulator, it probably doesn't matter that much to you.

i'd give dension a try... people had issues with the iPod bogging down... you might want to try searching for DICE
