What makes it 2005.5 vs 2006

Hey guys quick general knowledge question. How can you tell if your Audi is 2005.5 or 2006? If the sticker (driver side door frame) says December of 2005 is that 2005.5 or is it 06? Can you check your VIN, since I heard read on here that someone had a 2005.5 but their VIN was listed as 2006.


Just wondering since I need some new brakes and it would be great if Audi covered it.

I think the VIN still says 05, im pretty sure mine does. You can do a quick search/google to decode a VIN

Tenth digit of VIN is always the year.
