Rennworx RSL's are on

Some of you may remember I was querying about RSL's some time ago.

Well I bought em in 19x9 et38 and finally put them on the car about 2 weeks ago.

I had a whole bunch of rubbing in the back so the car has since been raised, the PSS9 rears are real PITA to adjust in height, wish I had bolted the perch in when I installed the Bilsteins.

I am slightly unhappy with the offset as the rim protector strips from the 245/25/19 Vredesteins stick out past the fender lips in the front.
So I might get the the rim hub machined a few mm's to make the wheels fit in better under the fenders.

And do other Vredestein Sessanta users also think that these are pretty noisey? I was suprised with the difference between the Contisport 2s and now have to turn up the radio 1 to 2 notches on the steeringwheel.

Nice wheels - and rare too.

I also run the Sessantas and they are, on the whole, a touch noisier than the stock Conti 2s. The noise is funny though as it's completely surface dependent... on some roads the tires are quieter that the Conti's and vice versa. Over all, I'm pretty happy w/ the tires given their cost...

Sorry to say guys Rennworx was taken over by Wheel Enhancement and the RSL's were discontinued because as they couldn't get blank forgings for them anymore. I had the second to last set, bought straight from Rennworx.

The bumpers are all DTM stuff which came standard on the car.

Arclight: Your absolutely right about the rolling noise and different surfaces, at least I now know I dont have a set of off tires.
