373AWHP!!!!????!!!!??!!!! What kind of turbo was in that car. You sure it was WHP? Thats a hell of a lot of power. The RS4 puts down 340AWHP and is 400lbs heavier with alot less torque.

the guy at the apr booth said it was wheel hp. Iam just reiterating what he said. the dyno above was on the sign by the car. They were also handing out flyers for the 2.0t
k04 it, it was listed at 343 whp. the stg 3 gt28rs kit was said to be 373 whp and costs $7000k. crazy. stock bottom end and internals. The guy said it walks c6 vettes

i wouldnt beleive it and really still dont... (the k04 that is) I believe the stg 3 #'s could be right, but the k04 no way. I've seen stg 3 1.8t's with 325-350 whp. I know that is max the internals would hold, So that means the 2.0t could easily do it.

apr netribuc 9 engine management calibration

i am only reiterating what the rep said to me... i have the card with the specs and numbers, that all is in black and white. But him and I were talking specificly about the red one in the booth and he said it was stg 3 and was insane to drive and handed me the spec sheet/flyer. I read it as he explained some of the specifics and I said, " are these wheel hp figures?" , "yes" . So I dont know, they probably arent for all i know but for $7000k with those mods it better be close thats all i can say.

I think the white B7 looks retarded. IMO at no time should a wheel extend out past the fender unless you live in little Mexico or drive a truck with swampers on it. Also, that stretch is stupid and just solidifies the fact that the wheels are even more stupid and need to be narrower or have more offset. The only time I would enjoy seeing that car is if it was taking a hard corner and sparks were flying.

I guess my post was a little harsh, but I did say it's my opinion and I'm not too worried if anyone agrees or disagrees with me. If it's really the DTM style now adays, it's a shame that people are separating looks and functionality/performance even more. However, I do understand that some people are always going to be more concerned with how their car looks over how it performs. I guess I just prefer performance with a little bit of looks. To each his own...

Just so you know, my car did a 14.01 at 101mph (its non-quattro) quarter mile at Fixx Fest last year, so it performs well. For the show i mounted spacers on the car to have a little more poke, just because i love the look. I also autocross the car down in Miami and i place most of the times in my class, so i don't think you will ever get to see the sparks you want to see. So.... make sure you know what you are saying before you say that the car is retarded, the stretch is stupid, the wheels are even more stupid, and all that other good stuff.

I just didn't think that it would be safe or work well to take any high speed corners with your sidewall stretched that much... Sorry if my assumption was way off. I congratulate you for having a car set up how you want it and being proud of it. It also seems like you have plenty of fans on here who like that style as well. However, as I stated in my original post, "IMO" (in my opinion), it was my opinion about how it looks and I still don't like it. The APR numbers are at the CRANK, not wheel. APR has always listed their numbers as crank for the obvious reason that it's higher and looks more impressive. You can plainly see that graph shows the peak crank hp/tq for STOCK right at 200hp/207tq which is exactly what Audi claims for a 2.0T B7. The crank estimates seem appropriate, aside from the K04 which just looks way too high, the difference between a K03/K04 shouldn't be 70 crank hp.

stock: 200hp/207tq
tuned K03: 252hp/298tq
tuned K04: 323hp/338tq
gt28rs: 373hp/340tq
