Tire ?, URGANT

235/55/17 will they fit on my a4? wana buy http://www.audizine.com/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=2908, and i just wana be 100% sure.

235/45 is the stock tire size for 17s. that's one size bigger and will slightly throw off mileage, speedometer calculations, etc.... i'd recommend staying withing specs.

that's a whole lot of side wall..a 235/55/17 seems like a light truck/suv tire :|

it'll be like having 235/45/r18 won't rub or anything.. tires would look thick though.

well that's a big NO. 17" tires NO CAN FIT 18" wheels, plain and simple.[:)]

i think the tires in the ad would rub on your car. i dunno if the spacers u have would fix that or not....
