What is so shitty about ebay reps?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/18-Aud-RS4-Wheels-TT-A3-A4-A5-A6-S4-S5-S6-Hyper-Black_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1742Q2em153Q2el12 62QQcategoryZ43958QQihZ007QQitemZ170263645914
there has to be a reason they are so cheap and im guessing they are heavy or possibly made from weak metal?

i dont know about shitty.. but, why go through e-bay when you can go directly through a manufacturer ( velocitymotoring.com ) Charles is always around and he will hook you up! If there are any problems you can cut out the middle guy... and go directly to a mfr.
Cheers!

You get what you pay for.
Buy nice, or buy twice.

No difference. Reps are reps.
Definately get what you pay for in the end though. How are the roads in CT ?

Reps are heavy and soft and usually poor quality clear coat and paint.

Well I ran some HP Evo's on the 2nd car I ever bought and had no trouble at all with them.
Snow will damage poor wheels but if you're getting them for that time of the year don't get nice ones cause they'll get nicked and damaged too.

I agree. If you are getting wheels for winter then use your stocks and get some nice ones for summer!

ha thats true but i would and am using my stocks for winter. i don't need to look good in winter because i'll be covered in snow and road salt!!

Try looking for a set in the classifieds, you might find a deal.
I'm running my M40s during the winter here, I'll see if the quality holds up.

I always here "what you pay is what you get", but maybe someone with experience in this wheels could tell us if they represent a good deal.
I mean, you can find reps for only 469USD, maybe it's worth the try....

Reps are fine. Nicer wheels are just nicer looking and give you the mindset to be careful with them.
With reps you're not even going to swerve out of the way of that huge pothole, you can just say "meh it's only $115 for a new wheel no biggie" and cream it !! Hell you might even have a full size rep spare just cause you can.
