87 Audi Quattro 5000 S.
Idle jumped from 700 to 1100 rpms. Was told might be a sensor. Starts hard. When cold, have to use starting fluid or gas to start. Also when cold, idle is normal til it warms up then over 1k rpms.
Any ideas?
Also, anyone have any pics of the brake wires? I have a short somewhere....no idea where.

could that be a vacuum leak?

i understand you posted in the right section, but the fact that Audizine has this section, doesn't mean it has 2000 members with these cars. that is why every other model has there own section for the most part, and this one covers about 8 models. so i figured i would point you to where people do have an abundance of older cars and know a ton more about them then the people here who have an average of cars made in 2000 and up. so like i said, motorgeek and justfourrings will probably help you
