got my new tire in, so I put the STaSIS/Champion RG40s back on. Only had them off for a month but I totally forgot how much I like them.

I love those wheels on your Avant. I'm stoked on the white versus the black. Although I am biased. ;)

I am currently at 24 1/8" front and rear on STaSIS c/o. I am probably going to have to raise it, though. It picks up gravel from my driveway in that little tray[rolleyes]

No rubbing at all on 255/30-19s all around. It doesn't even rub with the stroller, kids, wife and all of the other crap I am always hauling around.

Thanks for all the compliments.

I guess it depends on your goal of the suspension (form vs. function), but I'm not a fan of how low Stasis's standard setting is for the rear, even tho it's functionally advantageous. My personal preference is to have the gap between the top of the RIM (not the tire) and the fender be the same on both the front and back; check this out and tell me what ya think:

Difference is slight, even to the Audi trained eye, but I see what you mean.

Can you explain why it's more advantageous to have the rear lower? I thought we wanted to have a high-to-low rake on our cars....

Crap, I meant to edit the post; I was gonna suggest exactly that. Logically, providing a lower front would counter the weight transfer and rear suspension dip at launch, especially if the suspension is fairly stiff. This is a notorious power-killer.

Perhaps Stasis has figured it's more advantageous to have the car permanently positioned in that point of suspension-compression that can occur at launch......still doesn't make much sense to me, and looks like either a ricey setup or just improperly set nice setup. [>_<]

Interesting. What are some other tips for coils? I asked in this thread if we can corner balance our cars even though I heard it's not *technically* possible! http://www.audizine.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2815481&postcount=30

Damn cucu, I just saw your ride in there, 'some damn sexy wheels you got there! Nice taste muh friend.

Not sure of any more tips for C/O's as I don't have 'em myself, but its most likely gonna be my next mod. I'm kinda kickin' myself for blowing almost my whole mod-wad on my stereo setup, but in the long run I'm gonna be happy I eliminated a giant woofer box for a stealth install. I cried when I figured out I could've bought C/O's, installed them, not to mention intake, chip, and maybe even some other random exterior mods w/ what I spent. [=(] O well.

Like I said, I'm a long-term kind of guy, so in the end I did the right thing.

The rear fender well is slightly smaller on the Avants than on the sedans. Because of this a perfectly level setting on your suspension actually gives you more tuck in the rear than in the front...

Beautiful! I'm picking up my B7 black S-Line Avant Wednesday (flying to Phoenix and driving it back to the OC) and seeing this post is making me anxious. I've had two A4 sedans over the years.... My last (07 A4 2wd) had Eibach Springs with 19" wheels that lowered the car a bit uneven and I wished the rear was a little lower. I love the look of your Avant and the wheels are sweet. I see what volcomic is saying regarding the rear having more tuck, it gives the illusion that the rear is lower. Regardless, both your and volcomic cars are killer and have given me many ideas once I get mine... I'll post pictures as I go through the process of upgrading it. Cheers!
