Ok so my driver side jack point is starting to bend and not really be able to hold anymore. I don't use the widow maker, but when i put the car on the jack stands it starts to bend and then it will start to sink. I have searched but i need to know what i can do to be able to jack and hold my car up in the air! Where can i Jack the car up and where can i put the stands that won't fail?

Your pinch weld is bending? That really shouldn't happen... can you take a picture of it?

Where I jack mine up depends on what I'm doing. I ususally just jack it up by the pinch welds then throw jack stands under the lower control arm more toward the center of the car so the suspension won't compress and let the car lower more. Like this:

Or I'll do the opposite if I need lots of room under the car.

I'll go see if i can get some pictures! It is more when i get it on the stand then when i jack it. but non the less, i have had the drivers side slump down when it is up.

What do you mean when you say "the car slumps down" when it is on the jack stand?

By slump i mean it will be a good inch to two inches lower then the pass side!

What have you done about it? Left it how it is? do you still use it to lift the car up?

say bending has happened with mine and I use a 2-ton jack and leave each side with a jack stand. I don't think there is anything else we can do unfortunately

I've lifted my car up with my low-pro hydraulic jack, put it on jack stands many a times, but my pinch welds have not bent... Hmmm
