Got the A4 Dynoe'd.

Went with a friend a couple weeks back and had my car dynoe'd.
Its a 2006 Audi A4 2.0T, with 1000hp to the wheels!!! and the loudest exhaust you will ever hear (it set off all the car alarms at the mall and i was asked to leave, just to give a sense of what it does haha)

I'm sorry, I just don't believe that. Even with all the mods you have, you're car may be quick, but you're not going to beat an S4. Maybe for a bit, on the low end, once you go faster though, the torque output from the V8 will overtake the turbo 4...

Our torque peaks at like 3200 w/ a chip and goes down from there. AND the RS4 has about 100 more HP than the S4 and 200 HP more than a chipped A4.

Not exactly. He has a Mercedes ML500 which he is keeping and getting rid of the 750. I can't wait to drive the M3 and the new M3. I've been watching some videos of the sound of the M3's V8 on youtube. Pure Sex! Especially with an after market exhaust.

The ride is better, handling is better....and from my experience with them, I just think its a better car. However, they are significantly more expensive and that's why I have an Audi. oh yeah. if you're going to buy one, buy it for the speed/performance. They're way to expensive to buy the smaller/less powerful engines in each class. I'm hoping to be moving back up north in the next few months...I'm very excited to drive the Quattro in snow.

Yeah I saw a black/black with black wheels m3 coupe at a car show I went to in MD, it was one of the best looking cars I have ever seen in person. Tastefully done and there are some many modding options for the cars.

i feel ya my dad just got an 08 750i with the sport package, and even in sport mode with the shift points changed it still is not as fun. Awesome car though, it pretty much does everything but tickle your balls (which will be an option on the 09)

I bought a car that can be modded the way I want and I can learn how to work on an engine w/o screwing up on my german sedan that is worth much more then the Z. I would've destroyed the A4 to get it up to the power levels I want so I bought another car that I won't feel so guilty for possibly blowing the engine.

Not trying to start a war but I find this extremely hard to believe, especially about the rs4... I've owned 2 b5 s4's one was a stage 3 (search my posts), 2 b6 s4's (just bought second one) and an 07 s-line avant 2.0t with APR software and test pipe. Running 100oct program and fuel it still pulls nowhere near the s4. The first couple gears feel quick with the low end torque and would probably pace the s4. 3rd and 4th just drag on and on and the s4 would walk... I know the b6 s4 is not the quickest in the world but it's fast enough to make me dump the newer a4 2.0T in favor of it. Only way I'd ever believe this is to see it in person or to watch a few vids. If you were running a BT setup that would be a whole different story and believable... I can admit when I'm wrong. Prove me.

im waiting on some performance parts to get installed. dyno is coming. BTW i took an owner of a B6 S4 with Full Exhaust, APR Chip, Carbonio Intake 6 Speed Manual for a ride last night and he was extremely impressed said the pull was like his S4.

Doesn't mean anything. My car feels faster than a B6 S4 even though it's not. It's all about the tq spike.

Exactly. When I first drove my b7 I was like wow this thing is quick off the line. Felt just as fast as my previous s4. Like I said 3rd and fourth gear arent as fun... Just drags and drags...

Yes there is. Some are easier to put up with than others. Auditude2.0T is one that is not too rediculous. Most of his posts are reasonable. He should be able to put down numbers that are somewhat close to what he expects with the mods he has, but only a dyno will tell.

About the S4 comment, he said his friend made the comment not him. Cut him a break.

I am in no way a minor trying to defend another minor like some posts I've read before. I am just going by the post that "I" have come accross.

I think his posts are generally pretty decent. As far as the comment on a select few 17 yo being good drivers, maybe. I really cant agree with the statement that 17 pay more attention. I know when i was 17 I had some close calls, a hot chick would go by and my neck would be turned 90 degress not watching in front of me so Im not sure i can agree with that statement. The difference is as you get older and gain more experince you learn that by doing the shit you did when you were 17 will put you in the hospital. Im still young at 22, and think that i can hang pretty well, but in no way would i do the shit i did when i was 17. Maturity and respect for these cars bring about a good driver.

thats great, lmao. The true test would be at the drag. Want to see times. I know my S4 managed a 13.8 At Englishtown Raceway. When I had my 2.0T with Revo software, Carbonio, Millteck I managed 14.4 1/4mile. This is my opinion, the only way your going to beat an S4 is with a turbo upgrade. not saying you cant keep up but inorder to surpass and keep walking you will need bigger turbo. I know with the boltons I had on my A4 it still was not enough. Thats why next time I go with an A4 im going to go BT.

There shouldn't be much doubt that with all of your mods you're puting down more torque than an S4. APR's 93 program alone is supposed to give you about 292lb-ft. Add all of the other shit you have and I'm sure you're well over the S4's 302lb-ft. It also can't hurt that an A4 is more than 300 lbs lighter than an S4...

yeah Kristokes hit a 13.7 but he dumped the clutch at a really high RPM. I wouldnt recomend it but to achieve a good time sometimes you must sacrafice you clutch. I would say after all his runs for the day 14.2 which was at waterfest.
