Ok there finally finished, it was relatively easy, as long as you take your time. The color match is great but theres no shine yet, i'm going to wait three days for the clearcoat to cure then use rubbing compound to polish it (provided by paintscratch)
hope you enjoy the pics, feedback is welcome

took me about 1 and a half hours each side, cost me 60 bucks, paintscratch was my only option, they don't have radiant silver in so cal, very good match tho

has anyone completely removes the door sills and painted them all silver...... instead of having that line there..... i know how much of a pain it is to remove that sill because it's glued down..... if anybody has ann extra set of sills laying around it might be a nice project......

anyway...

lowers came out great!

i saw in another post of yours that the front and rear (i think) were already done. did the kit cover all the pieces front rear and sides?

do you have any close up pics?

I had the fronts and backs done by a shop, before i had the balls to do it myself, they didn't want to do the sides though, becuase of the flexibility of the rubber. But the kit that i ordered covered the sides fine, i still have about half a can left for each, i did 2 coats primer, 2 coats basecoat and 3 coats clear coat

interesting, i want to do this too, but think i would need multiple cans for the front and rear.

going to try to look at duplicolor for something for my melange beige.

looks good, however if its not shiny now then you didnt put enough clear coat on.
general rule for laquer (clear coat) is too do one thin coat, and then a 'wet coat'.
then maybe another wet coat.
lots of thin coats wont give a nice shine like a thick coat does.
