Sorry but I'm still relatively new to Audi's, so you need to replace the drain plug after each oil change?

It's highly recommended to replace the crush washer at every oil change, but unfortunately, it's a captive washer, and the only way to replace it is to replace the whole bolt (which makes for cleaner installation anyway, and less mess on your fingers as you're putting it in, IMHO)

The washer isn't removable from the bolt. Well, unless you cut it off, but that's a lot of work for as cheap as a new drain plug bolt is.
