I might roll 20s to our next big show down here (just borrowing custom one-offs from an S500)
anyone know if 245/45/20 is too big for the narrow body?
I've read (i think jappyjap?) runs iirc 235/30?
I'm guessing it is wayyy to big especially with my race springs but figure another 20s topic won't hurt [>_<]
*note I don't currently know the wheel width or offset but I'm guessing it is +35

ya that tire size wont work at all. if you want to run 20s i think a 225/30/20 is the way to go. thats how amish had it on his ride

245/45/20 is a bit too tall. You may be able to run 245/35/20, but definitely 245/30/20 will work. I'm running 245/30/20 F and 255/30/20 R and they clear just fine.

I have a 04 2.7T. I have been debating 20's for about a year now. Almost everyone on says NO 20's. But yours seem to work well. Any mods needed or can I just put them on

The 45 aspect ratio will definately be too tall in the sidewall. You would have to run a 30 series tire. But it'll be like running on rubber bands...harsh as hell. Just so you know.

35 is not as bad as 25 or 30 but any way a 45 is way to big
