I would pay for a CHP to sign off my window tint ticket :[ Too much of a hassle to take it off and then reapply. [headbang]

dont take off the tint dude. If your fortunate to get your ticket sign off thats would be great but if you cant, just pay the ticket. I have 5% (limo) all around as well and have been pulled over twice in the past 2 years for it but I refuse to take it off and just pay the ticket. It can be pretty costly just to take the tint off have it corrected and then pay the fine for the correction just to put the tint back on. It will end up costing you way more than just paying the fine.

Yea it was around $110~120, but since I paid it online I had to pay an extra $10 for using the courts e-service.

Ok, that's fine. But since I got 3 in 1, what do I do about the tail lights and no front plate? I can easily fix that by trading tails with a friend for the day and the plate I can just throw on since I have the bracket on. Can I ONLY pay off the windows and fix the rest?

I believe u can. Just go ahead and get the taillights and front license plate signed off, then when u go ahead to pay to correction fee the courts will note that you didnt pay the for the correction of your window tint and will fine you the whole fee for the window tint ($110~120).

lol I've gotten pulled over twice for tint so far, first time they suspended my license... for like a few months.. second time they forgot about it, I went to court and there was nothing in the records... but according to what I hear, they forget about it quite often..

Heres my experience w/ tint tickets.
If the ticket is marked correctable you have to get it signed off by a peace officer and then pay the $10 court fee. Happened to me last month. I couldnt get a friend's cop friend to sign it off so I removed the tint, went to the CHP office and had them sign off the ticket (also got a modded exhaust on the same tick so they signed that off too).
The court does look for the correction signature for any correctable offenses on the ticket.

If its marked non-correctable then you can just pay the fine (mine was $115 a couple years ago).

So if your 3 in 1 is marked correctable on all 3 then you need to correct each one and have a peace officer sign it off. Find one to sign it off for you then obviously you wont need to correct anything.

My 2 in 1 was only the $10 court fee. And yeah Ill need to re-tint but I can get that done for $30-40. So all in all $40-50 total (once re-tinted) and a lil time. Lot cheaper then a $115 fine.

And from what Ive heard no cop will just sign off 2 offences and not the 3rd. All or nothing type of thing.

They the front plate and tinted windows are marked correctable but the tinted tails is not.

Then youre probably going to have to pay a fine for the tails (no idea how much that would be and why its not marked correctable is beyond me, can always try and go to court and show proof you corrected it and get the fine lower).
Should only be $10 for the plate and tint since its marked correctable.

Extend the tickets due date (right before its due now). Should give you an extra 60 days to find someone to get your ticket signed off.

Have you received the notice in the mail yet? That will have your fine on there and what your options are for court etc.

right but wrong, if you get a non correctable, you can take it to court. i got a exhaust and tint ticket, exhaust was not correctable and tint was, the ticket was alot, so i fought it, and won, ticket signed off even while the officer circled non correctable
