View Full Version : Can You Put S4 Tips On 2.0T Exhaust System

If i change my rear valence to a S4 one can i just put the quad tips on the stock exhaust or does the exhaust have to be changed?

i tried doing it..i had the s4 valence painted and eveyrhting and had the oval quad tips from vibrant and i still couldnt do it. they didnt line up perfectly with the s4 valence. you either have to bend the muffler box towards the center of the valence cutout or have custom piping done.

one problem i had was that on the driver side under the heatshield where the muffler sits theres this metal piping that runs along it and stops from fitting flush so i had to bend the hanger a bit...

^ i had the same problem. but since my cars a lease i just decided to sell the s4 valence and return the tips and instead got 3.5 inch vibrant tips that are just sitting in my trunk waiting for install

well since im in the same situation as you cus its a lease you made my decision a little easier

My car is a lease and you can check out my mods on my signature.
Most of them can easily be sold when I start parting out.
Anyways, your first mod should be a chip.

I don't think so because on each S4 muffler, there are 2 pipes with separate tips so you would have to get new mufflers.
