Get rid of your tail lights. The murdered out look doesn't pull when you have stock wheels... even if they're powder-coated.

if your going with the black theme...then go with either gloss or flat black. You coudl just save your money and leave them alone too..

i think the wheels offset the car with all the black. unless u black out the trim then black out the wheels so its murdered out. Dont blacken the wheels and leave the trim...just my 2 cents tho

How about powder coating the window and grille trim and jewelry to match the present anthracite color of the wheels?

IMHO, that would give you a custom, subtle bit of contrast instead of everything looking like it was dunked in a bucket of black paint.

I represent one of the larger Powder Coating facilities in South Florida. We are open 24hrs a day!
I can tell you that I see lots of Gloss Black wheels coming through here but the Hardcore Enthusiasts from track racers, the Porsche guys (Champion Porsche), Lambo, and Ferrari customers ALL GO WITH SATIN OR FLAT...........No more gloss on the high-end stuff.

I personally think go to a bigger 19" wheel and do a matte, gloss combo.... like matte face with gloss barrel. That would put the car into the next level!

Why didn't you offer this as a suggestion? I think its the best choice.

Aftermarket flat with even a polished lip would look sweet. [up]

If you want to keep your wheels, flat black is the way to go.
